The dream started many years ago. Anthony, the founder of Vreedtsaam, spent ten years working in Ireland, gaining experience and refining his passion for great food.
In 2024, that dream became a reality when we opened our shop in Arconpark. Today, it’s a place where people stop for a chat, discover something delicious, and experience the warmth of true South African hospitality. We are excited to share the joy of good food, good company, and the flavours of home with all of South African folks.
